6th Grade Mixed Media Winter Landscapes & Diamante Poems

6th grade students were introduced to landscape painting during the winter months and were instructed to paint a winter scene. Students were asked to write a diamante poem to accompany their paintings. 

Landscapes were created using masking tape for the outline of the trees, watercolor for the sky, acrylic paint with cardboard for the bark and oil pastels for the fences.
