Pre K students were introduced to primary and secondary colors. First we read the book Mouse Paint by Ellen Stoll Walsh then we practiced mixing the primary colors to create the secondary colors. The following class students reviewed primary and secondary color theory through the mixing of water and food dye in mason jars (refer to the color theory post). Students then added whiskers and eyes to their mice.

Color Theory!
This was very exciting...
We learned that color changing is a physical change and chemistry class can be experienced in our very own art room!
