2nd graders were introduced to the famous french impressionist painter, Claude Monet. Students learned that Monet would rather be painting in his floating studio than spending time in school! Students used the same colors and short choppy brush strokes that this impressionist artist is known for. It was challenging but exciting to try this new style of painting.
