Pre K Wax Resist Designs

This was our last art class for these soon to be kindergarteners! Students were read a book about colors. Each page showed a variety of plants, flowers, animals and objects of that color. Each time we read about a color we chose that crayon to add to our radial design. Students had to be patient and follow directions. The last color we learned about was black. Instead of adding black crayon to our work we painted over our designs with black paint. This was exciting!
