2nd & 3rd Grade Art & Community

During art class students learned about different well-known artist who used flowers as their main subject. Students were then given the challenge of creating their own flower drawings.
Using soft pastels to draw flowers from real life takes a lot of patience, confidence and determination. These brave students took on the task with little hesitation, got their hands dirty and as a result created many fascinating works of art.

Nice job 2nd & 3rd graders!

Students work will be  on display at The CoffeeNook (a local coffee shop) for the next month for our community to view.
