3rd Grade Body Motion

Get Your Body Moving! 

3rd graders learned about the human body; how important exercise is and observed how the body moves in space.  The students also learned that verbs were action words. Each student took a turn at picking a verb or action word out of a hat. Students partnered up and took turns sketching their partner acting out their verb. Once 4 sketches were completed students chose their best and sketched it onto a piece of 4x6 cardboard and used string to outline their sketches.
