5th Grade Dot Drawings

Believe in Yourself
Around 5th grade many students start to become insecure about themselves and their artwork. I read "The Dot" by Peter Reynolds to the students. This story is about a young girl named Vashti who thinks she is no good at art, until her teacher opens her eyes and makes her realize just how special and unique her work is. Students used a permanent marker with confidence to create their individual masterpieces that started with a simple dot.  Each work is unique in itself and shows each student's different personalities.
